About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to provide program-level coordination and delivery management across multiple technology initiatives. This role will be central to driving alignment across vertical teams, ensuring consistent use of project management practices, and advancing objectives through Jira. The Tech PM will work closely with technology leadership, the Architecture Committee, and cross-functional business partners to establish clear objectives, tie work to epics, and report progress at both the project and program levels.

Responsibilities

• Own Jira governance across technology projects, defining objectives, ensuring consistent usage, and tying initiatives to epics and deliverables.
• Create clear project objectives, link them to epics in Jira, and provide structured reporting on progress, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate program-level initiatives spanning multiple technology verticals, initially diving deep into 12 projects and scaling oversight as needed.
• Partner with the Tech Management Committee to manage project managers across teams, ensuring alignment and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Architectural Committee to ensure projects meet enterprise standards and objectives align with broader business outcomes.
• Facilitate consistent reporting and communication across teams, providing transparency and updates to leadership on progress, risks, and resource needs.
• Align diverse technology and business teams to a unified project management framework, driving adoption of consistent processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technology projects in complex organizations.
• Strong expertise with Jira (administration, reporting, and governance).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and ability to adapt frameworks.
• Experience aligning multiple verticals/teams under a consistent program-level structure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Background in financial services or enterprise technology environments.
• Experience working with Architecture and/or Technology Management Committees.
• Track record of bringing consistency and structure to distributed PM teams.
