Job Description:
\nJoin Albany Medical Center as a dedicated CT Tech in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, you will perform advanced technical procedures, assist in patient evaluation and care, and contribute to diagnostic imaging excellence. This role involves conducting a variety of CT scans on outpatients, inpatients—including those in intensive care—and research subjects, as well as performing specialized CT-guided procedures. You will also ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.

• Strong technical skills in computed tomography procedures\n
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities\n
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment\n

Preferred Education & Experience:

\n

\n
• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology school and high school diploma (or equivalent)\n
• Entry level: limited or no experience; level assigned based on your skills and background\n
• Knowledge of trauma patient care and emergency procedures is a plus\n

\n

Certifications and Licenses:

\n

\n
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or valid limited permit \n
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)\n
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED certification for the Professional Rescuer \n

Additional Information:

• Hours: Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM\n
• No on-call responsibilities required\n
