Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position requiring a year of recent home health experience and current BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Home health setting covering 13 counties including Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, Dekalb, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Platte, and Worth
• Typical work schedule is either 5x8 hour days or 4x10 hour days, with shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• Call is required one Sunday every five weeks
• Weekend schedule involves working both Saturday and Sunday every 5th week, with time off during the preceding week
• Patient volume varies based on travel distance, with fewer patients scheduled when covering more remote areas
• Main responsibilities include providing home-based physical therapy services across a wide regional area
• Team members rotate coverage of the most distant counties on a weekly basis
• Dress code requires black, grey, or khaki pants and polo or scrub tops with no prints
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Locals are accepted at a reduced rate

• Current BLS certification required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent home health physical therapy experience required
• Valid driver's license and SSN required for consideration
