Connected Health Care , a leading recruitment and staffing agency specializing in healthcare, is partnering with a Critical Access Hospital in South Dakota to find a skilled Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) . This is a 13-week contract position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role . Join a dedicated clinical team and make a meaningful impact in a rural healthcare setting!

Job Description – MLT Duties

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, and immunology
• Analyze and interpret lab results to aid in diagnosis and treatment
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Adhere to quality assurance and regulatory standards (CLIA, COLA, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and team members
• Rotate through various lab areas and participate in call rotation as needed

Education & Certification Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
• MLT (ASCP) or AMT Certification – Required
• Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred (new grads welcome!)
• BLS Certification – Required or willing to obtain

Schedule & Shift Details

• Day and Night Shift Available
• 3x12 or 4x12 Hour Shifts (flexible scheduling options)
• 13-Week Contract with Temp-to-Perm Potential
