Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Neuro Telemetry

Type: Travel Contract
Start Date: November 24, 2025
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Location: LBH – Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD

Job Overview:

This position is on 3South , a Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). Nurses will primarily care for neuro patients but may float to telemetry or med/surg overflow patients.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years Med/Surg and Telemetry experience; Neurology experience required
• Licensure: Active Maryland RN license or Compact license
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • TCRN* preferred
  • Basic EKG exam (provided through Prophecy Relias) required before orientation
• Skills/Procedures:
  • IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC/central line management
  • Blood product administration, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management
  • Chest tubes, tracheostomy care
  • EEG bedside monitoring
  • Telemetry monitoring (on unit and remote)
• Floating: Within Med/Surg and Tele units; can be pulled to other units as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holiday required
