Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Qualifications :

• 2 Years Minimum Experience REQUIRED
• 1st Time Travelers are ACCEPTED
• Locals are ACCEPTED
• REQUIRED Certs: ACLS

Skills REQUIRED: 

• Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/StepdowN experience.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required.
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required.
• Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience

PREFERRED Skills:

• PREFERRED Certs: NIH
• Charge experience

JOB DETAILS:

• Ratios: 1:6-7
• Shift: 12Hour NIGHTS
• 36 Hours ONLY Can be Offered!
• 13-26 weeks accepted
• RTO: 7 DAYS MAX for AUTO OFFER***
• Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED
• Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
• PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:  

• Unit monitors cardiac patients.
• Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc).
• Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop

 

UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCRUBS : Navy
