About the role Compass Mining, a global leader in the Bitcoin mining marketplace, is looking for an adaptable, and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our team at the Denver Service Center to support our warehouse operation.
Responsibilities - Wear appropriate safety gear (gloves, mask, safety glasses).
- Carefully remove all fans from the miner using a drill or screwdriver.
- Use an air compressor to blow out dust and debris from heat sinks, boards, and casings.
- Ensure all air vents and crevices are fully cleared.
- Remove any stickers, tape, or markings from miner surfaces.
- Wipe down the exterior of the miner with alcohol and lint-free wipes.
- Clean fan blades and casings with alcohol wipes if necessary.
- Check that no debris, markings, or residue remain.
- Ensure fans are reinstalled securely and all connections are intact.
- Ability to cover each part of our operation - inbound, cleaning, inventory control, outbound and test bench.
- Support bolt-on repair.
- Receive incoming shipments.
- Put-away product, parts and supplies
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and document all miner movements in our warehousing software.
- Pick, pack, unpack and ship products for shipping and/or storage
- Keep the warehouse clean and orderly
- Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications - Ability to lift heavy objects (frequently 50 lbs or more)
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Physical stamina - standing/walking for long periods, bending, lifting, etc.
- Reliability and punctuality
Preferred Skills and Experience - Previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners)
- Knowledge of inventory systems
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift Certification
- OSHA safety training
Soft Skills - Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Time management and organization
Location: Denver, Colorado (on-site)
Pay rate: $23.00 per hour (part-time at 25-30 hours per week)
