My Favorite Face Masks for Some Extra TLC

These past two weeks my stress level has been on high.  Trav and I are in the process of moving so we are selling a house + finding a house we want to move into.  Add a hectic work-week to the mix, and you’ve got yourself a nice concoction of overwhelm which is a prime recipe for an ugly breakout.

When life gets crazy, my skin likes to show it, so skincare becomes especially key to keep the breakouts under control.  Not to mention, giving myself a little extra TLC helps me manage/mediate my stress levels a bit.

For me, that looks like using my facial roller more than the usual, loving on my skin, and doing LOTS of face masks.  Today, I thought I’d share my favorite face masks that I’ve been cycling through to pamper my skin and my soul!

MustaeV USA Sheet Masks

I shared these masks in my Skincare Essentials blog last year two.  These have been and will always be MVP’s in my skincare routine.  They’re the only sheet masks that I’ll use and I went into a lot of details as to why in my other blog if you want to read more.  There are four variations of this mask and I like to cycle through all of them!

Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior Pink Plumping Mask

This miracle mask was a deluxe sample that I got from Ulta and became obsessed after the first use.  It’s so refreshing and cooling on the skin, which is exactly the sensation I want to feel when I’m under stress.  It contains three different sizes of Hyaluronic Acid which helps deliver moisture to the skin to plump up and diminish fine lines, and smooth the skin texture.

I Dew Care Space Kitten Mask

This is a heavy duty charcoal peel off mask that detoxifies like nobody’s business!!  You only want to use this in problem areas to get rid of blemishes or blackheads… It is less than pleasant peeling this mask off but it hurts so gooooood and definitely pulls out the “bad stuff” from your skin where you need it!

What are your favorite face masks to use for a little extra pampering?  Drop them in the comments and let me know what I should try next!
