Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Inventure Associate at Inventure | Helping professionals advance their careers in Renewable Energy | Finance and Legal Staff or Senior Accountant – Renewable Energy $90,000–$120,000 base + 15–20% bonus + equity Hybrid (3 days/week in office) A fast-growing independent power producer (IPP) in the renewable energy space is looking for a Staff or Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an immediate need with strong long-term growth potential. The company recently expanded its development platform and is scaling quickly across clean energy assets. You’ll be joining a high-performing, mission-driven team in a hybrid work environment (3 days in-office) and will gain hands-on experience across core accounting functions, audit, and investor reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations including AP, journal entries, and accruals Support month-end close and maintain intercompany and consolidated accounts Prepare audit support, tax documentation, and investor materials Assist with compliance filings and process improvements Ensure accurate application of U.S. GAAP across reporting functions What We’re Looking For: 2–3 years of experience in accounting (renewable energy or IPP experience required) Solid understanding of accounting principles and U.S. GAAP Audit experience (public accounting or internal audit) Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Motivated, adaptable, and passionate about sustainability Bonus Points For: CPA or CPA-track Experience in public accounting (Big 4 a plus, but not required) Background in renewable energy finance or accounting at an IPP Familiarity with internal controls, investor reporting, and consolidations This is a great role for someone who wants to be part of a mission-driven, collaborative team and grow within the renewable energy industry.
