Aerospace Cabin Engineer Are you a seasoned Cabin Engineer with a passion for aviation and a proven track record of designing and analyzing aircraft interior systems? Selectek has partnered with a growing aviation client in the Indianapolis Metro area to find a highly skilled Cabin Engineer to design and analyze aircraft cabin interior systems and components for STC projects. About the Role: Cabin Systems Design & Analysis: You will design and analyze mechanical components for aircraft interior modifications and avionics upgrades, ensuring compliance with FAA and STC project requirements. Documentation & Reporting: You will prepare cabin interior modification, installation, and fabrication drawings, engineering reports, and work instructions. Airworthiness Procedures: You will develop work instructions and airworthiness procedures. Project Support: You will contribute to design, analysis, substantiation, certification, drawing interpretation, and project management tasks. Who You Are: Educated Professional: You hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Experienced Professional: You have 7+ years of experience performing design, analysis, substantiation, certification, drawing interpretation, and project management in the aviation industry. Technical Expertise: You possess a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) processes, Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), and Illustrated Part Catalog (IPC). Software Proficient: You are proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor. Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10% of the time).
