We are a well-established General Contractor in Fort Lauderdale seeking a Chief Estimator to lead our preconstruction efforts with precision, innovation, and collaboration.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

• Proven track record as an Estimator or Chief Estimator in a General Contracting/Design-Build environment.
• Ability to prepare detailed estimates, conceptual budgets, and value engineering solutions.
• Skilled at collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver accurate numbers that reflect design intent and project feasibility.
• Leadership mindset, capable of mentoring estimators and building out a best-in-class preconstruction team.
• Strong local subcontractor relationships and ability to negotiate with confidence.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Managing the entire preconstruction/estimating process from concept through final GMP.
• Reviewing drawings, specs, and design documents for accuracy, scope, and completeness.
• Coordinating with design partners and internal operations to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Preparing proposals, presentations, and cost narratives for owners and clients.
• Implementing estimating systems, tools, and best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
