Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integration strategies for cybersecurity controls within IT projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate with IT and cybersecurity teams to facilitate the seamless integration of security tooling across various environments.
  • Utilize automation platforms to orchestrate systems effectively, enhancing security protocols and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and adapt cybersecurity measures to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, applying best practices to continuous system improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance on the Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53 rev 5 control family, and the Cybersecurity Framework to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met and integrated solutions are robust and secure.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a cybersecurity role, with at least 2 years in a cybersecurity engineering capacity.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in integrating IT projects with commercial cloud providers such as Azure or AWS.
  • At least 2 years experience in using automation platforms for system orchestration.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience focusing on the integration of disparate IT systems into cohesive workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python coding with at least 1 year of demonstrated experience in a professional setting.
  • Thorough understanding and application of the Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53 rev 5 control family, and the Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Desirable: Experience with networking products such as Palo Alto and Cisco devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.

Pay Range: $45.00 $50.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
