Job Title Data Scientist (W2) Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including compliance partners, risk officers and operations teams) to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations. Design and implement dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide SME guidance for all data issue remediations impacting the 1LOD embedded Control Team to ensure proper data feeds for regulatory work and risk assessments. Apply statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to support decision-making; run models, identify exceptions, and take corrective actions. Facilitate Agile and Scrum processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings. Utilize Jira and Kanban boards to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow management. Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and reliability across all reporting. Use SQL querying and related tools for data extraction and model population. Translate complex technical concepts and analyses into easily understandable formats for non-technical audiences. Provide analytical support and prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred. Proven experience in a Data Analytics environment. Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience with tools like Jira, Kanban boards, and data visualization platforms. Strong knowledge of SQL querying and macro development. Ability to interpret and communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and reliability. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support performance assessments, risk assessments, data remediation, and data governance guidance.
