Responsibilities
- Talent planning and strategy: identify future talent needs, develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent, analyze labor market trends.
- Employer branding and marketing: create and maintain employer branding materials, participate in recruitment events and social media campaigns, collaborate with HR and Marketing to promote the organization as an employer of choice.
- Compliance and record-keeping: ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintain accurate recruitment records and data.
- Administrative tasks: schedule interviews, create offer letters and other documentation, manage applicant tracking systems.
- Candidate sourcing and assessment: identify sourcing channels, screen resumes and applications, conduct initial screens, schedule and conduct in-depth interviews, evaluate qualifications, provide feedback to hiring managers, extend job offers.
- Onboarding and process improvement: coordinate onboarding processes, analyze recruiting metrics, identify and implement process improvements.
- Other duties: perform other related recruitment duties as assigned (may include project work).
Position Details
- Location: Athens Area
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Salary: 55,000 + Commensurate with Experience
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8am-5pm
- Hours Percentage: 50% (Duties/Responsibilities), 30% (Duties/Responsibilities: Talent Planning and Strategy; Employer Branding and Marketing; Compliance and Record-Keeping), 15% (Administrative Tasks), 5% (Additional Duties)
- Direct supervision/interaction: This position has security access and interacts with confidential information.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Education/experience evaluation may be requested by HR.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of previous recruitment experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Effective communication at all levels, both written and oral.
- Ability to deliver work on time and work independently; strong customer service in an academic environment.
- Professional demeanor in challenging situations.
- Proficiency with MS Word; familiarity with MS Excel, email, and management reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and quality; excellent organizational skills; ability to handle confidential information; personal accountability and adaptability; ability to work autonomously with team accountability.
