Our client, a leader in the Oil & Gas/Energy industry, is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their team. As an Instructional Designer, you will be part of the Learning and Development department supporting various corporate and field training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong creativity, exceptional problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Instructional Designer

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $50-$55 per hour plus benefits

What's the Job?

• Oversee the complete training development lifecycle.
• Design impactful and effective training solutions.
• Develop eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise 360.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions as needed.

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of the ADDIE training development model.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing, ability to work with graphics, video insertion, etc. - strong creativity needed to keep field learners engaged with content
• Proven expertise in training design and eLearning development.
• Project management skills and the ability to work 3-4 simultaneous training projects
• Experience coding within eLearning development software.
