Hardy Jo’s Moving & More is a fast-growing, locally-owned business in Knoxville. We’re looking for a reliable, professional, and hard-working Mover to join our team. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor position with flexible scheduling and the opportunity for increased hours during busier times.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items safely and efficiently
• Drive a 16ft box truck as needed for local deliveries and moves
• Communicate with customers regarding scheduled delivery times (in-person and by phone)
• Provide excellent customer service during moves and deliveries
• Ensure items are handled with care and transported securely
• Work as part of a small, professional team to complete each job
• Assemble and disassemble furniture (beds, couches, desks, etc.) as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a company-owned 16ft box truck (training provided)
• Able to lift and carry 75 lbs or more on a regular basis
• Must be punctual, responsible, and have strong communication skills
• Moving or delivery experience preferred, especially with furniture assembly
• Availability to work varying days and shifts — each workday ends when the job is done

Compensation & Details:

• $18–$20/hour depending on experience
• Tips paid out at the end of the day
• Daily pay
• This is a 1099 contractor position — you’ll be responsible for your own taxes
