Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner

Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $104,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
• Starting Bonus: Sign-on bonus up to $10,000
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $14,000
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 2-3 days per week in clinic plus additional OR time as first assist
• Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision coverage; 401K with matching; 29 days PTO; $3,500 CME allowance plus 5 CME days; license reimbursement; DEA and controlled substance coverage; loan repayment through facility.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to provide care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, assist in surgical procedures as a first assist, and collaborate with a dedicated orthopedic team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care in clinic and hospital settings
• Serve as first assist in orthopedic surgeries
• Develop and manage patient treatment plans and follow-ups
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher
• +1 year in Orthopedic Surgery
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of New Mexico

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and patient management
• Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a surgical team
• Excellent clinical assessment and patient care planning skills
