Job Summary: Regional Branch Manager

Location: Portsmouth, VA (On-Site)

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Branch Manager to lead our Portsmouth, VA branch operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational management, and business development expertise within the commercial roofing or construction industry. This full-time, on-site role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee end-to-end branch performance, from project execution and team management to profitability and customer satisfaction.

As the Regional Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth through client acquisition, building high-performing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of commercial roofing and wall panel projects. You will collaborate directly with executive leadership to align branch goals with organizational objectives, maintaining operational excellence and compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations across project management, sales, field, and administrative teams.

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals and drive regional growth.

• Oversee branch budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

• Manage project execution including resource allocation, quality control, and client relations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local building codes.

• Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff for optimal performance and career development.

• Lead business development efforts through networking, client meetings, and vendor negotiations.

• Partner with corporate leadership to identify new market opportunities and regional expansion strategies.

• Represent the company at industry events and handle escalated client matters with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial roofing, construction management, or general contracting.

• At least 3 years in a branch, operations, or regional management role.

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiency.

• Strong financial and business acumen with excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in project management and business software (Sage CRE 300, The Edge preferred).

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Valid driver's license with regional travel flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• PMP certification or equivalent project leadership credential.

• Experience managing multiple project teams in commercial roofing and metal panel systems.

• Familiarity with flat and steep-slope roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, and Modified Bitumen.
