Job Title: Telecommunications Tower Technician (TT3 & FM)

Location: Various U.S. Locations (Travel Required)
Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekend availability
Travel: Must be willing to travel for 4–6 week rotations

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Tower Hands for Top-hand/Foreman positions to join our growing wireless construction team. Candidates must be skilled in working on wireless carrier cell sites (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) and capable of performing installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs. Work sites include macro towers, rooftops, water tanks, and small cell sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage crew members to ensure high performance and satisfaction
• Complete jobs on time and within budget
• Plan job logistics, ensuring materials and tools are ready
• Enforce quality and safety standards for the crew
• Submit job reports, close-out documentation, and photos
• Communicate effectively with field Construction Managers

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of wireless RF communications and RFDS
• Skilled in antenna, base, microwave, and power systems installation and maintenance
• Ability to follow MOPs and perform routine construction and repair
• Comfortable working at heights and in remote locations
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Willingness to travel for 4–6 week rotations
• Valid driver’s license and ability to tow trailers. Out of market travel is required.
• Physically able to lift 50–100 lbs and climb structures 150’+
• Proficient with wireless tools, test equipment, and inventory systems

Certifications (Required or Preferred)

• OSHA 10/30
• Certified Tower Climber
• NWSA TTT1 Certification (at a minimum)

Experience (Preferred)

• 5+ years in cellular construction and tower climbing
• 3+ year experience with Dish, Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile builds
• RF Foreman experience is a must

Education

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
