My First Home Decor Haul: The Boho Edition *

I may have a home decor addiction.

I’ve gone a LITTLE overboard on the furniture and decor shopping lately… but doesn’t everyone when they move into new digs??  Please sound off in the comments and tell me I’m not alone here.

One thing’s for sure, it takes time for things to start coming together, and I am constantly moving things around until I find the perfect space!  None the less, this little boho area in our sun-room was giving me ALL the feels for a light & airy oasis!

My furniture shopping go-to for that mid-century modern look is West Elm.

I’m loving pulling in some more modern pieces with eclectic accents.  This space of the house is a totally different vibe from the rest.  It really screams eclectic and bohemian with the exposed brick walls, natural light, and tiled floors so I am REALLY going for it.

If you know me, obviously no space is complete without some positive energy and healing crystals (and ESPECIALLY not a bohemian space). That said, I mixed in some large and small of a few of my faves.

I really am obsessed with this chair because it’s big enough to curl up in and small enough to not overpower the space.  The previous home owners left this awesome rug, so I found a similar one that I linked for you above.  The silver garden stool and wooden floor vase were both Home Goods finds that I brought from our previous house but I found 2 adorable alternatives on amazon too!

Now for the new painting, and faux greenery… these babies are ALL from Target (yes, Target) and we got them for a STEAL!  And can I just say it’s about damn TIME faux greenery became a thing. I can hardly remember to give myself enough water, let alone plants!

Now that it’s socially acceptable to have fake plants (especially ones that look as awesome as these) I am all the way here for it!

Next, it’s time to put the finishing touches on the living room area which I cannot wait to share! Let’s just say you can expect to see a LOT more from West Elm, velvet textures, and my personal favorite part of the house… a marble fireplace.  EEK!  I can’t even wait!
