Alright, alright, alriiiight! Today I’m headed to Austin to do some wedding makeup for a gorgeous bridal group but first I HAD to post my first-ever fashion-focused post for you. One of the things that inspired me when I decided to start this blog was that none of the fashion bloggers that I follow have the same body-type as me. I don’t fall into the plus-size category, but I don’t fall into the slim category either. I’m just your average girl with curves who loves fashion but doesn’t have one blogger I feel like I can look to that shares a similar body type to mine… so today I wanted to change that and represent for my semi-thick chicks who need fashion inspo too!
I am obsessed with the animal print trend, and I’m a sucker for a good bodysuit, so when I found this snake-skin turtleneck bodysuit on SHEIN over Black Friday, I knew it had to be mine!
The thing with statement pieces is it can be challenging to get mileage out them of because, I mean, they make a statement (duh), and no one wants to make the same statement too many times so you end up not being able to get a lot of use out of it.
Well, in the spirit of getting some serious mileage out of this seriously cute statement bodysuit, I’m sharing my favorite 3 ways to style this bad boy right here, right now. Let’s do this.
This first style is great for both the office and then happy hour. I love a good high-waist, wide-leg trouser. It’s so flattering on everyone and pairs perfectly with some pumps. This look literally shows no-skin but the silhouette is so feminine and the animal-print gives the look some extra sass, making it a perfect power-outfit!

For a more casual, street-style spin on this bodysuit, I paired it with my favorite high-waisted distressed jeans, a faux fur vest, booties, and my DIFF Eyewear sunnies with a belt bag. It’s called covering the two F’s: functional and fabulous 🙂

The third style was actually the exact outfit I celebrated my birthday in! I posted it on Instagram a few weeks back and I felt like a total babe. This is definitely more of your date-night style for when you’re feeling extra sassy. A little mini-skirt and some thigh-high boots, and you are date-night ready!
