I’m usually one of those girls that prefers to stick to neutral toned makeup. This green look for the holidays is the perfect amount of bold without being TOO in-your-face for all the glamorous festivities.
I partnered up with MustaeV USA, which if you follow me on Instagram you know is my favorite Korean Beauty brand, to show you how to create this green smokey-eye for the perfect pop of color when you want to switch your look up!
First, I mixed a little bit of MustaeV USA shadow in Kellygreen with Lustrous Cream Base to intensify the shadow.
I used a flat brush to apply the cream mixture all over my eyelid and then used a fluffy brush to blend into my crease.
Turning the shadow into a cream creates a more intense color, makes the application go WAY faster, and helps prevent the possibility of fall-out onto your cheeks!
I used the MustaeV USA eye shadow in Wish Me Luck with another flat shadow brush and patted it in the center third of my eyelid area.
The lighter shade softened the look as well as created some really pretty dimension.
The finish of this shadow is a really pretty satin so it also pumps up the glam by giving a subtle sparkle to your eyes without being glittery.
Next I grabbed this slightly darker green by MustaeV USA called Forest with a small smudge brush.
I applied this on the outer corner of my eye and the lower lash-line to give my eyes more shape.
This step really takes this look into a more evening, sultry vibe.
I finished off the shadow by taking a little bit of Vinyl shadow by MustaeV USA on a small brush to highlight the inner corner of my eyes.
I also took a teeny-tiny bit on the very center of my lid to intensify the gradient that was already happening thanks to the ‘Wish Me Luck’ shade that I applied earlier!
The highlights keep it soft!
I finished the look by using the MustaeV USA Tension Fit Liner to line my upper lashes, and used the black pencil to line my water-line on the bottom. Then I popped on my favorite Lilly Lashes (wearing style Ash Kohlm) to complete the look!
