We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The role specializes in Men's Sexual Health and Gender-Affirming Surgery, including male infertility (with a focus on cancer-related fertility preservation), sexual dysfunction, and low testosterone management. Responsibilities include providing affirming and inclusive urologic care to transgender patients, pre-operative counseling, post-operative teaching, care coordination, and opportunities to perform or assist in clinic and operating room procedures. Participation in ongoing research studies is encouraged. Key duties include patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, collaboration with healthcare professionals, patient and family education, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical documentation. Essential tasks involve history and physical exams, care plan formulation, ordering and interpreting tests, education, coordination of care, consultation with physicians, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications include current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, Master's degree, Basic Life Support certification, 2+ years related experience, MA Board authorization, valid prescriptive authority, and computer proficiency. Preferred qualifications include experience in urology or related fields and teaching hospital experience. The job requires medium physical work and adherence to vaccination requirements.
